IVAN DA Nepali teejook SAGAN-DAILI 96 g is a herbal tea blend chosen by people who want a warming, aromatic drink with a more tonic character than ordinary herbal infusions. Ivan Da combines several traditional plant ingredients here: Sagan-Daila shoots, chaga, fermented fireweed tea, bergenia leaves and Dasiphora flowers. Together they create a layered taste with woody, herbal and slightly resinous notes, while the blend can be steeped more than once, which is typical for many whole-herb teas.
The best-known component in this blend is Sagan-Daila (Rhododendron adamsii). In Siberian and Himalayan tea traditions, this plant has long been used in small amounts for its invigorating effect. People often choose it when they want a drink that feels more enlivening than classic evening herbs, yet different from coffee. Its role in the blend is balanced by other botanicals rather than presented on its own.
Chaga is a mushroom raw material traditionally brewed for a deep, earthy infusion. It contains naturally occurring polyphenols and other plant compounds that contribute to the dense flavour profile. Fermented fireweed tea, often compared with Ivan tea, adds roundness and softness because fermentation changes the taste of the leaves, making the infusion less grassy and more full-bodied. Bergenia leaves and Dasiphora flowers complete the composition with a slightly tart, herbal edge and a more complex aroma.
This kind of herbal beverage suits people who enjoy rotating their hot drinks, reducing reliance on standard black tea or coffee, or adding a traditional botanical infusion to their day. It works well for a slow morning, a break during work, or a warm drink in cooler weather. Because the blend contains herbs with a distinctly toning profile, it is reasonable to start with a modest strength and see how it suits you, especially if you are sensitive to stimulating drinks. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, giving herbs to a child, or using regular medication, it is wise to ask a healthcare professional before using herbal blends regularly.
