IVAN DA Siberi-Tiibet astelpajuga must tee 96 g
IVAN DA Siberi-Tiibet astelpajuga must tee 96 g is a loose-leaf herbal tea blend built around Tibetan black tea, sea buckthorn leaves and shoots, and Sagan-Dailya. People usually choose this kind of tea when they want a rich, warming drink with a more layered character than plain black tea, but without the sharp edge often associated with stronger caffeinated blends. The taste is deep, slightly spicy and herbal, with a gentle wild-plant note from the mountain botanicals.
Key ingredients
What makes this blend interesting is the balance between tea leaf and aromatic plant material:
- Tibetan black tea — gives the infusion body, color and a rounded, malty base.
- Sea buckthorn leaves and shoots — better known for its bright orange berries, but the leaves and young shoots are also traditionally used in herbal drinks for their fresh, slightly tart plant profile and naturally occurring polyphenols.
- Sagan-Dailya — the Siberian name for Rhododendron adamsii, with a long history in regional tea traditions, where small amounts are added for a resinous, uplifting accent and a distinctive alpine aroma.
When people choose it
Together, these ingredients create more of a slow, contemplative cup than a standard tea bag experience. This herbal tea suits:
- Quiet breaks, cool weather, or evenings when you want flavor and ritual without reaching for coffee.
- People who enjoy traditional plant infusions and are curious about Northern and Tibetan-inspired tea culture.
Re-brewing is especially useful here, because large leaves and plant pieces often open gradually, revealing a softer second infusion.
Important notes
Although this is a food product rather than a supplement, blends with wild herbs may not suit everyone. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, very sensitive to herbal stimulants, or choosing drinks carefully because of a medical condition or medication, it is sensible to start with a small amount and see how it feels for you.

Customer Questions
The taste is a rich, warming blend built around a malty, rounded Tibetan black tea base. The sea buckthorn leaves and shoots add a fresh, slightly tart herbal profile, while the small amount of Sagan-Dailya (Rhododendron adamsii) contributes a distinctive resinous, alpine aroma. Together, this creates a more complex, layered flavor than a standard black tea, without a sharp, overly astringent edge. It's a contemplative cup suited to quiet breaks or cool weather.
For the best flavor, use a teapot or an infuser basket that gives the large leaf and plant pieces enough room to expand. Start with about one teaspoon (2-3 grams) of the loose blend per 250 ml (one cup) of water. Bring fresh water to a boil, then let it cool for 10-20 seconds before pouring over the leaves; water just off the boil is ideal for black tea bases without scalding delicate herbal notes.
