SAMAHAN is neither a single-herb tea nor a simple infusion of one herb. The recipe is based on a blend of 14 plant ingredients and spices traditionally used in Sri Lankan Ayurvedic practice.
The sachet format is designed for quick preparation: the contents of the sachet are dissolved in hot water — no steeping or straining is needed. This makes the drink convenient when travelling, at work or at home in the evening.
SAMAHAN contains several plant ingredients with a pronounced effect — in particular ginger, black and long pepper, and liquorice. Most healthy adults tolerate this composition well, but there are situations in which caution is advisable.
