Emeljanovskaja Biofabrika Fermented Fireweed Tea with Lingonberry is a natural herbal tea blend combining fermented fireweed (Ivan tea, Chamerion angustifolium / Epilobium angustifolium) leaves with lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) leaves and dried lingonberries. Fermented fireweed — known as Ivan-chai in the Russian herbal tradition — is prepared by a natural enzymatic oxidation process analogous in principle to the oxidation of black tea leaves, which develops a rich, full-bodied taste profile and a characteristic dark amber infusion colour. Lingonberry contributes a gentle berry aroma and natural tartness to the brew, as well as additional tannins and polyphenolic compounds. The combination produces a satisfying, deep-flavoured caffeine-free herbal tea blend.

INGREDIENTS: Fermented fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium) leaves, lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) leaves, dried lingonberries.
NUTRITIONAL VALUE per 100 ml prepared infusion (approx.): Energy ~1 kcal / ~4 kJ; Fat 0 g; Carbohydrate 0 g; Protein 0 g; Salt 0 g. Natural source of tannins, flavonoids and polyphenols.
USE: Brew 1–2 teaspoons (approx. 3–5 g) with 200–250 ml of freshly boiled (90–95°C) water. Steep for 5–10 minutes and strain. May be brewed stronger in a teapot for 10–15 minutes. 2–3 cups per day recommended.
WARNINGS: Not for use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Not for use if allergic to the heather family (Ericaceae). Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if packaging is damaged.
STORAGE: Store in a dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in an airtight container after opening.
