EMELJANOVSKAJA BIOFABRIKA fermented herbal tea with willowherb and lingonberry is a fermented herbal tea based on willowherb (Ivan chai) with added lingonberry. Fermentation is a natural way of processing the plant material that changes the taste, colour and aroma of the infusion.
According to the instructions, 1–2 teaspoons (about 2–4 g) are covered with 150 ml of boiling water, left to steep for 3–7 minutes, strained and drunk warm. Within these limits, the infusion can be made lighter or stronger by adjusting the amount of tea and the steeping time.
If you have not tried herbal teas with berry and leaf ingredients before, it makes sense to start with a small serving the first time and assess your individual tolerance. This applies both to the willowherb itself and to the lingonberry, as both the berries and the leaves are used.
