Bishofit Bishopric Body Balm is used as an auxiliary remedy in the treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular diseases (degenerative arthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, radiculitis, osteochondrosis, lumbago), as well as for addressing salt deposits.
Bishofit is a natural mineral created millions of years ago by deposits from an ancient sea. It is extracted as brine and evaporated on the surface to form salt. Today, there are several major deposits of this mineral, with the deepest one located under Poltava, where it is mined at a depth of 2.5 km, and the source is very pure.
The effectiveness of the mineral is explained by its composition, which includes around 70 trace elements, primarily magnesium, iodine, bromine, sodium, and iron. Magnesium regulates the proper absorption of calcium, preventing its accumulation in soft tissues and joints. As a result, it supports spinal health and strengthens bones. In addition, this trace element reduces joint swelling and inflammation, making it indispensable in the treatment and prevention of arthritis and arthrosis, alleviates pain and muscle inflammation, relaxes muscles, and helps cope with physical exertion.
Active Ingredient Properties: Comfrey accelerates the recovery of damaged tissues in fractures, ligament strains, and contusions. Bishofit reduces swelling, restores joint and ligament mobility, strengthens joint and connective tissues, and enhances metabolic processes.

FBT HARILIK VAREMEROHI JA BIŠOFIIT kehakreem-palsam 75 ml by Fito Bio Technology is a body balm for joints and muscles, chosen when an area feels overworked, stiff or less mobile after physical strain. It combines comfrey extract with bishofit, a mineral-rich salt source known in topical products for the back, knees, shoulders and other movement zones that need a warming massage and a more flexible feeling.
The main idea of this cream-balm is the combination of plant and mineral actives. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) has a long tradition in external use for skin over bruised or strained areas. In cosmetics, it is valued for helping the skin feel soothed and for making massage products especially suitable after exercise and minor overexertion. Bishofit is a naturally occurring mineral brine, notable for its magnesium content together with other trace elements. In a topical formula, magnesium salts are often used in products for tense muscles and heavy-feeling joints, as they help create a relaxing massage experience and a sense of ease in areas that feel tight.
What makes this Fito Bio Technology body balm interesting is the mineral format itself: bishofit is not just one isolated ingredient, but a concentrated natural salt complex. The formula is built as a cream-gel texture, so it spreads easily, allows a short massage and absorbs without the thick occlusive feel of heavier ointments. This makes it practical for people who want to use a joint and muscle cosmetic during active periods, after gardening, training, long walks or extended desk work that leaves the neck, lower back or shoulders feeling stiff.
This product is best seen as part of a broader self-care approach for external use: massage into the needed area when the body feels loaded, after sport, or when weather changes make movement feel less pleasant. It may suit adults looking for a topical cosmetic with comfrey and magnesium-rich bishofit rather than a strongly heating rub.
As with any active body cosmetic, avoid applying to damaged or irritated skin, and stop use if sensitivity appears. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have very reactive skin, or plan to use it over large areas for a longer period, it is sensible to ask a healthcare professional whether this product fits your situation.
