"Balzam Gor" by Altai Specialist is a natural mountain mumijo (shilajit) sourced from the Altai region — a dense, resinous substance that seeps from rock crevices in high-altitude areas. For centuries, people in Central Asia, Siberia and the Himalayas have used mumijo as a traditional tonic, especially when the body needed extra resilience during physically demanding seasons or recovery periods. This 50 g pack contains purified Altai mumijo in its classic resin form.
Mumijo is a complex organo-mineral substance formed slowly in the mountains over hundreds of years. It naturally contains fulvic and humic acids, trace minerals (including iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium, calcium), amino acids and plant-derived compounds. Fulvic acid is the most studied component — it has a very small molecular size, which is believed to help the body absorb the accompanying minerals and bioactive substances more efficiently. This is why mumijo is traditionally valued as a "concentrated" mineral source rather than a single-nutrient supplement.
In folk practice, Altai mumijo has been associated with the skeletal system, joints and connective tissues — which is why this product sits in the joints, bones and muscles category. The resin form is the most authentic: a small piece (usually the size of a grain of rice or wheat) is dissolved in warm water, milk or herbal tea. Store the jar tightly closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
