Teavit Herbal Blend Tea No. 28 is a traditional Eastern European five-herb blended herbal infusion tea in teabag format, combining chamomile flowers (Matricaria chamomilla), green tea (Camellia sinensis), rosehip (Rosa canina), liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and peppermint (Mentha piperita). Chamomile is one of the most consumed herbal teas in the world, prized for its characteristic mild floral flavour and calming aroma. Rosehip contributes a pleasant tart flavour and is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C. Peppermint provides a characteristic menthol-fresh cooling note. TEAVIT Bronhiidi taimetee N20 comes in 20 tea bags, so brewing requires no measuring of herbs. One tea bag is covered with a glass (200 ml) of boiling water and left to infuse for 5–10 minutes — the longer it steeps, the more pronounced the herbal flavour and the slight astringency from the green tea.
Although this is an ordinary herbal drink, its composition is worth taking into account. The key ingredient here is liquorice root: it has a coating effect and softens the flavour, but in case of sensitivity to liquorice or regular consumption in large amounts it should be approached with caution. That is why, before drinking it on a regular basis, it is wise to consider how often you plan to have this tea.
