Teavit Laxative Herbal Tea is a traditional Eastern European blended herbal infusion tea in teabag format, containing cassia leaves (Cassia senna / senna), anise fruits (Pimpinella anisum), liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), rosehip (Rosa canina) and green tea (Camellia sinensis). Anise (Pimpinella anisum) is one of the most widely used culinary and herbal spice herbs in the world, providing a characteristic sweet, aromatic anise flavour profile. Liquorice root has a long history of use in herbal tea preparations and as a flavouring agent, contributing its characteristic sweet taste from naturally occurring glycyrrhizin. Rosehip provides a pleasant tart flavour and is a natural source of vitamin C. Green tea contributes antioxidant polyphenols and a mild refreshing note.
⚠ STIMULANT LAXATIVE WARNING — SENNA (Cassia): This product contains Cassia senna (senna) leaves, which contain anthraquinone glycosides (sennosides A and B) — naturally occurring stimulant laxative compounds. Short-term use only — do not use for more than 1–2 consecutive weeks. Do not use for chronic constipation without medical consultation. Do not use in cases of: intestinal obstruction or suspected obstruction; abdominal pain of unknown origin; inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis); irritable bowel syndrome; pregnancy; breastfeeding; children under 12 years old.

PREPARATION: Place 1 teabag in a cup. Pour 200 ml boiling water. Steep 5–10 minutes. Remove the teabag and serve. Do not prepare at higher concentrations than indicated.
