How should this tea be brewed, and how often can it be drunk?

TEAVIT Bronhiidi taimetee N20 comes in 20 tea bags, so brewing requires no measuring of herbs. One tea bag is covered with a glass (200 ml) of boiling water and left to infuse for 5–10 minutes — the longer it steeps, the more pronounced the herbal flavour and the slight astringency from the green tea.

Thanks to the peppermint and green tea, the drink tastes fresh and slightly invigorating, while liquorice root makes the flavour softer and sweeter without added sugar. If you like, you can add a spoonful of honey or a slice of lemon — this is a matter of taste and does not change the character of the blend.

There is no strict limit for herbal tea, but it makes sense to treat it as a warm drink to have during the day rather than something to drink ‘as much as you like’. This applies especially to liquorice: it is found in many throat blends, and long-term regular consumption in large amounts is undesirable. If you drink this tea daily and over a long period, it makes sense to do so in moderation and be guided by how you feel. It is not a medicine and not a substitute for a balanced diet.
