To bring out the woody, mellow profile of Must Draakon Pu‑Er, start with water that has just reached a rolling boil (about 100 °C). Rinse the loose leaves briefly with a splash of hot water before steeping; this removes dust and awakens the tea. Measure roughly 1 gram of leaf per 150 ml of water and place the leaves in a teapot or a porcelain cup equipped with a fine mesh or a tea ball to keep the leaves contained. Pour the hot water over the leaves, cover immediately, and let it steep for 3–4 minutes. The first infusion will be softer and more fragrant, while a second or third brew will reveal deeper, earthier tones; the second infusion may need 4–5 minutes. If you prefer a lighter cup, reduce the steeping time to 2 minutes or use a slightly cooler water temperature (around 90 °C). Increase the leaf amount to 1.5 g per 150 ml for a stronger cup, but avoid over‑steeping, especially in the evening, as the caffeine content can linger and interfere with sleep. After each brew, discard the leaves or set them aside for a fresh steeping. Pu‑Er is a post‑fermented tea; its flavor develops with each infusion, so you can experiment with steep times to suit your taste. Keep Must Draakon Pu‑Er in a tightly sealed container to protect it from moisture, light, and strong odors that can alter its character.
