Milk thistle flour is rich in A-, E-, D-, K-, B-group vitamins, macro- and microelements (potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, selenium, zinc, etc.). It contains silymarin, which strengthens and restores liver cells, promotes the production of bile secretion, and improves metabolic processes in the liver.
Regular consumption of milk thistle flour strengthens the immune system, stimulates the intestines, and helps eliminate toxic substances from the body. It can be added to baked goods, replacing up to 20% of the main flour, eaten raw, added to salads, muesli, dairy products, sour milk products, smoothies, and juices.

ORGANIC OIL Milk Thistle Flour 250 g is a functional flour made from milk thistle seeds. People usually choose it when they want to enrich meals with more plant protein, fibre and naturally occurring micronutrients, while also adding a traditional botanical ingredient to baking, smoothies or simple meals.
The best-known compound in milk thistle is silymarin — a group of plant flavonoids found in the seeds. It is valued for its antioxidant action: in plain language, it helps protect cells from oxidative stress caused by unstable molecules formed during normal metabolism and exposure to external factors. Milk thistle has long been associated with liver-focused nutrition, which is why it is often included in menus for people who want a gentler, more mindful approach to food choices. As a flour, it also brings fibre, which helps food move through the digestive tract more smoothly and makes recipes more filling.
What makes this product practical is its versatility. Unlike capsules or extracts, Organic Oil milk thistle flour can be used as food: mixed into porridge, muesli, yoghurt, kefir, smoothies or juices, or added to home baking. In recipes, it is usually combined with other flours rather than used alone, which helps keep the texture familiar while adding the characteristic mildly nutty, herbal taste. This makes it suitable for people who prefer to include botanicals in meals instead of taking separate supplements.
Milk thistle has a long history of use in European herbal tradition. Today it is often chosen by those who want more variety in a balanced menu, especially during periods of heavier, richer eating or when trying to improve overall diet quality. Because it is a concentrated seed flour with active plant compounds, it is sensible to start with modest amounts and see how it suits you. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or use medication, it is wise to check with a healthcare professional before using it regularly.
