LEKRASET white willow bark herbal tea is a traditional plant drink made from Salix alba bark. People usually choose white willow when they want a simple herbal infusion with a long history of use in seasonal changes, after physical strain, or during periods when they prefer classic botanical options instead of strongly flavored teas.
The best-known compounds in white willow bark are natural salicin derivatives, together with tannins and plant polyphenols. In the body, salicin is converted step by step into related compounds that are associated with the characteristic effect of willow bark. This gradual conversion is one reason some people prefer bark tea over sharper-tasting stimulant drinks. The tannins give the infusion its slightly astringent character and are typical for bark-based herbal preparations.
What makes this product different is its simplicity: one single herbal ingredient, finely ground white willow bark, with no added aromas or blends. White willow has been used in European herbal tradition for centuries, so this tea will appeal to those who appreciate straightforward botanical preparations and want to include a classic herb in their daily habits. It can suit someone who enjoys preparing infusions at home and prefers a neutral, earthy taste rather than sweet fruit teas.
This herbal tea is not a medicine, and it is not the right choice for everyone. White willow bark is generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and people who are sensitive to willow, salicylates, or similar substances should be cautious. If you use blood-thinning products, have a sensitive stomach, or want to combine this tea with other herbs or supplements, it is wise to ask a healthcare professional whether it fits your routine.
