It contains nothing but dried berries of the guelder rose. No flavourings, colourings, sweeteners or auxiliary ingredients. It is a single-ingredient product, which gives you the direct, rich taste of the berry without any extraneous notes.
Guelder rose berries are brewed with boiling water: pour 1 glass (200 ml) of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of berries, leave to steep for 1.5–2 hours and strain. You can also lightly crush the berries before brewing — this makes the drink richer.
Guelder rose berries are a natural plant product, but some people should be careful. This applies above all to those who take medicines that affect blood clotting: plant polyphenols can interact with such medicines, so it is best to check with a doctor or pharmacist before adding a new herbal drink to your diet.
