To make an infusion, pour 1 glass of boiling water (200 ml) over 1 tablespoon of crushed leaves and leave to infuse in a thermos for 15 minutes. The drink is not recommended for children under 1 year of age.
Sea buckthorn berries make a rich sweet-and-sour drink with a pronounced fruity aroma. The leaves are quite another matter: their infusion is herbal and mild, with a slight astringency that comes from tannins. It is more of a classic herbal tea than a fruit tea.
