How do I brew sea buckthorn leaf tea properly? — Sea buckthorn leaf 50 g Lekra SET

To make an infusion, pour 1 glass of boiling water (200 ml) over 1 tablespoon of crushed leaves and leave to infuse in a thermos for 15 minutes. The drink is not recommended for children under 1 year of age.

Strain the infusion and drink it warm, 1/2 glass 3 times a day; it keeps in a cool place for no longer than 2 days. Sea buckthorn leaves have a mild, slightly astringent taste — you can drink the tea on its own or combine it with other herbs, such as mint or wild thyme. Honey or a slice of lemon also go well with this tea.

Sea buckthorn leaves contain no caffeine, so the drink is suitable for an evening cup of tea — partly thanks to the plant serotonin mentioned in descriptions of this plant.
