Rubella Fashion Color Permanent Cream Hair Dye in shade 5.0 Light Brown is a permanent oxidative cream hair colouring product from the Rubella (Fara) range, formulated to achieve a lasting light brown hair colour. The permanent hair colouring process works through an oxidative chemistry mechanism: the alkaline cream (containing the dye precursors and coupler molecules) is mixed with a developer (hydrogen peroxide) immediately before application; in the alkaline environment created by the ammonia or alkaline agent in the cream, the small dye precursor molecules penetrate the cortex of the hair shaft and are oxidatively polymerised by the hydrogen peroxide in situ, forming large, stable chromophore molecules inside the hair cortex that are too large to wash out, creating a permanent colour change. The formula includes rice protein, which has a surface-conditioning effect on the outer cuticle of the hair, helping to seal colour pigments within the cortex and adding shine and smoothness to the hair surface. The included fixing balm is enriched with a vitamin and keratin complex that provides deep conditioning of the hair after the colouring process. Shade 5.0: neutral, cool-based light brown — a versatile, universally flattering shade. 115 ml cream tube + developer.
