Description: Glycerin suppositories are a mild laxative designed to facilitate bowel movements. They assist in defecation in various ways. Upon contact with the mucous membrane, they trigger the defecation reflex. Glycerin softens stagnant stools, increases their volume in the lower part of the colon, and creates a lubricating effect, making bowel movements quick and easy. The glycerin suppository retains its shape for a long time and does not dissolve by itself, as there is too little fluid in the rectum to dissolve it. Thanks to this feature, the suppositories remain almost unchanged after defecation.

Usage: Glycerin suppositories are a mild medical aid designed to facilitate defecation after thickened or hardened stools, by locally irritating the rectal mucosa and providing a lubricating effect during defecation. The glycerin in the suppository helps to empty the bowel contents, softens and moisturizes stagnant stools, increases their volume in the lower colon, and makes defecation easier.
Contraindications:
- Do not use if you experience acute abdominal pain or pain of unknown origin.
- Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in glycerin suppositories.
- Do not use if you have a history of rectal inflammation, fissures, or bleeding hemorrhoids.
Dosage: For adults: 1-2 suppositories per day. Consult your doctor about the use of suppositories in children under 1 year of age.
How to use: Tear the foil at the sharp end of the suppository and remove the packaging. Insert the suppository sharp end first into the rectum. The effect occurs within 30 minutes of use. A single-use glycerin suppository is for immediate, one-time use. Do not reuse.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: Glycerin suppositories 2500 mg are safe for use by pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Storage conditions:
- Store in a dry place at a temperature between +4°C and +30°C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
