Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring fat-soluble compound found in virtually all cells of the human body, where it plays a central role in the mitochondrial electron transport chain responsible for cellular energy (ATP) production. Q10 is also a potent fat-soluble antioxidant, capable of neutralising free radicals within cell membranes and in the lipid phase of the body. The human body produces coenzyme Q10 endogenously, but its biosynthesis naturally declines with age. JutaVit is a Hungarian dietary supplement brand.
