If you prefer a separate vitamin C serum, you can still use it underneath, but you might find the combination unnecessary.The cream itself provides SPF 20, which is fine for short city commutes and indoor days. However, if you plan to spend more than 1–2 hours outdoors, apply a dedicated sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher on top. Sunscreen should be the last step of your morning routine, and it needs to be reapplied every 2 hours if you stay outside.If you use a moisturizer separately, you can apply it before this cream, but the cream already hydrates, so many people skip a separate moisturizer in the morning.
