This cream is designed for morning use. After cleansing your face, apply any water-based serums (for example, a hyaluronic acid serum) and let them absorb for a minute. Then take a small amount of the cream — about the size of a pea — and smooth it evenly over your face and neck. Because the texture is lightweight and sinks in quickly, you can wait just 2–3 minutes before applying makeup or a separate sunscreen.
If you use a vitamin C serum in your routine, note that this cream already contains vitamin C, so you may not need a separate one in the morning. If you prefer a separate vitamin C serum, you can still use it underneath, but you might find the combination unnecessary.
The cream itself provides SPF 20, which is fine for short city commutes and indoor days. However, if you plan to spend more than 1–2 hours outdoors, apply a dedicated sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher on top. Sunscreen should be the last step of your morning routine, and it needs to be reapplied every 2 hours if you stay outside.
If you use a moisturizer separately, you can apply it before this cream, but the cream already hydrates, so many people skip a separate moisturizer in the morning. If your skin is very dry, you can still use a richer moisturizer underneath.
