For external use, apply a generous amount of ointment to the anal area, massaging gently. If necessary, repeat the application several times a day for a longer period.

Oak bark ointment (Quercus robur) is intended for skin care for irritation, redness, and hypersensitivity, as well as for protecting and restoring the skin barrier. Oak bark extract is rich in tannins, which have astringent properties. These compounds help reduce secretions and strengthen the skin's superficial tissues - similar effects have been described in pharmacological reviews of plant tannins (Journal of Ethnopharmacology).
The product is based on occlusive ingredients (Paraffinum liquidum, Paraffin, Cera alba), which form a protective layer on the skin's surface, reducing moisture loss and promoting its restoration. This mechanism is widely used in dermatology to treat dryness and irritation (Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology). Glycerin additionally moisturizes the skin by attracting and retaining water in the stratum corneum, as confirmed by studies of its effectiveness as a humectant.
Fatty components (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl stearate) soften the skin and improve its elasticity, while emulsifiers ensure a stable ointment texture and even distribution of active ingredients.
