USAGE
For external use, apply a generous amount of ointment to the anal area, massaging gently. If necessary, repeat the application several times a day for a longer period.

Intended Use
Oak bark ointment (Quercus robur) is intended for skin care for irritation, redness, and hypersensitivity, as well as for protecting and restoring the skin barrier. Oak bark extract is rich in tannins, which have astringent properties. These compounds help reduce secretions and strengthen the skin's superficial tissues - similar effects have been described in pharmacological reviews of plant tannins (Journal of Ethnopharmacology).
Occlusive Ingredients
The product is based on occlusive ingredients (Paraffinum liquidum, Paraffin, Cera alba), which form a protective layer on the skin's surface, reducing moisture loss and promoting its restoration. This mechanism is widely used in dermatology to treat dryness and irritation (Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology). Glycerin additionally moisturizes the skin by attracting and retaining water in the stratum corneum, as confirmed by studies of its effectiveness as a humectant.

According to the label, DR.MÜLLER oak bark ointment is intended for external use on the anal area. It contains oak bark extract, glycerin, paraffins and beeswax. If you have chronic skin conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medicines, it is advisable to consult a specialist before use.
For external use, apply a sufficient amount of ointment to the anal area and massage in gently. If necessary, repeat the application several times a day, including over a longer period. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Store at +5 to +25 °C, out of the reach of children.
