Põdrakanepi "Blagodarnost" is a loose-leaf herbal blend of fermented fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium — also known as ivan chai or willowherb) with the addition of strawberry. Fireweed is a plant native to the boreal forests and open meadows of Northern Europe and Russia; when harvested and fermented in the traditional Koporye method, its leaves produce a rich, smooth and naturally slightly sweet brew with a distinctive floral-honey aroma quite unlike ordinary black or green tea.
Strawberry contributes a naturally fruity note that rounds out the floral character of the fermented fireweed. The blend contains no caffeine, artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives.

INGREDIENTS: Fermented fireweed herb (Epilobium angustifolium), strawberry (fruit and/or leaf). See packaging for precise proportions.
USE: Place 1–2 teaspoons (2–4 g) in a teapot, pour over 200–300 ml of water at 90–95 °C and steep for 5–10 minutes. Strain before drinking. The leaves may be re-infused 2–3 times.
