TEAVIT Põdrakanepi tee Gortsakovskiy 40 G by Teavit is a herbal tea made from fireweed, also known as Ivan tea. People usually choose this kind of drink when they want a mild, non-coffee option with a soft herbal taste and a calm, pleasant aroma. It fits well into a quiet morning, an afternoon break, or an evening cup when you want something simple and warming.
Flavour and tradition
Fireweed has a long tradition in Northern and Eastern European herbal tea culture. Unlike strongly bitter herbs, it is appreciated mainly for its balanced flavour profile: gentle, slightly grassy, and easy to drink on a regular basis. The plant naturally contains various botanical compounds such as polyphenols and tannins, which give herbal infusions their characteristic taste and structure. In plain language, these plant substances shape how the tea feels in the cup — smooth, lightly astringent, and aromatic rather than sharp.
What makes it appealing
What makes this product appealing is its straightforward composition: one herb, Epilobium angustifolium, with no complicated blend. That makes it a good choice for people who prefer classic single-herb teas and want to get to know the taste of traditional Ivan tea on its own. As a caffeine-free herbal beverage, it can also suit those looking to alternate with black tea or coffee during the day.
Who it suits
TEAVIT fireweed tea is best seen as a pleasant herbal drink rather than a fast-effect supplement. It suits people who enjoy:
- Traditional botanical infusions and classic single-herb teas
- Seasonal variety in the tea cupboard
- A lighter alternative to stronger hot drinks
Important note
If you are sensitive to herbs or trying fireweed for the first time, start with a small amount and pay attention to how you feel. Individual intolerance is possible.

Customer Questions
TEAVIT Põdrakanepi tee Gortsakovskiy is designed as a mild, non-coffee option, making it suitable for those seeking a softer daily beverage. Unlike black tea or coffee, which often have robust, bitter, or acidic profiles, this herbal infusion is characterized by a balanced, gentle, and slightly grassy taste. The flavor is described as easy to drink on a regular basis, with a calm and pleasant aroma that fits well into quiet mornings, afternoon breaks, or evening routines.
TEAVIT Põdrakanepi tee is a caffeine-free herbal beverage, which distinguishes it from traditional teas made from the Camellia sinensis plant, such as black, green, or white tea. The absence of caffeine means it does not provide the stimulating effects associated with coffee or regular tea, allowing it to be consumed at any time of day without disrupting sleep patterns. This makes it particularly suitable for evening consumption when you want something simple and warming to wind down.
The primary and sole ingredient in TEAVIT Põdrakanepi tee Gortsakovskiy is fireweed, scientifically known as Epilobium angustifolium. This straightforward composition means the tea is a single-herb infusion, free from complicated blends, artificial flavors, or additional botanicals. This purity is appealing to consumers who prefer classic herbal teas and want to experience the natural taste and properties of fireweed on its own.
