Ivan Chai Põdrakanepi tee "Rooibos" 50 g is a herbal tea blend made from granulated fireweed and rooibos. People usually choose this kind of caffeine-free drink when they want a mild evening cup, a softer alternative to black tea or coffee, or a warm drink that can also suit children.
Two Plants, One Blend
The character of this herbal infusion comes from two plants with very different traditions:
- Fireweed (rosebay willowherb) has long been used in Northern and Eastern European tea culture as a smooth, mellow plant drink. It makes up the larger part of this blend, giving body and a gently herbal note.
- Rooibos comes from South Africa and is valued for its naturally rounded, slightly sweet taste without the stimulating effect of caffeine. It adds warmth and a fuller aroma to the blend.
