Bio Vital 100% Natural Hair Color in shade Light Blonde (5 — Light Blond) is a plant-based natural hair colouring product from the Bio Vital range by Rubella, formulated exclusively from naturally sourced botanical ingredients from India, providing colour and conditioning to the hair without synthetic oxidative dye chemistry. Unlike conventional permanent oxidative hair dyes (which use p-phenylenediamine (PPD), hydrogen peroxide and other synthetic chemicals), Bio Vital 100% Natural uses only natural plant-derived pigments and conditioning herbs — primarily henna (Lawsonia inermis) with additional botanical herbs selected for their colouring, conditioning and strengthening properties. Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is the primary plant dye; its principal active colorant is lawsone (2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone), which binds irreversibly to the keratin protein of the hair shaft through a covalent Michael addition reaction with the terminal amine and thiol groups of keratin. Henna produces a natural reddish-orange to golden-blonde tonal range depending on the starting hair colour; for lighter shades such as Light Blonde (5), the formula is adjusted with botanical additives to achieve a lighter, more golden-blonde result. All ingredients are naturally sourced and have been carefully selected for optimal colouring results. Contains 3 sachets × 20 g (total 60 g) to provide sufficient quantity for medium-length hair. Nourishes and strengthens the hair structure.

Rubella Beauty BIO VITAL Henna Hele Blond works on a completely different principle than conventional oxidative dyes. Standard permanent dyes use ammonia (or an alkaline agent) to open the hair cuticle and hydrogen peroxide to break down natural melanin while simultaneously developing synthetic colour molecules inside the cortex. This lightens the hair and deposits colour in one step, but it also weakens the internal structure, which is why hair often feels drier or more porous afterwards.
Because this is a botanical colour that deposits pigment without bleaching, the final shade is always a blend of the herbal mix and your own hair’s base tone. On naturally light blonde to medium blonde hair, the golden-blonde nuances will be most visible, adding warmth and a glossy, slightly thicker-looking finish. On dark blonde or light brown hair, you will see a subtle golden sheen and a shift toward warmer tones, but the overall depth will not change dramatically. On medium to dark brown hair, the effect is usually a barely-there warm glint in sunlight rather than an obvious colour change.
Each box contains three 20 g sachets, designed so you can open only what you need. For a first full-head application on shoulder-length hair of average density, two sachets (40 g) are usually sufficient; the third can be kept for a root touch-up in 3–4 weeks. If your hair is very long or thick, you may use all three at once.
Even though the formula is plant-based and free from PPD, ammonia, and peroxide, a patch test is essential before every first use — and ideally before each new batch, since botanical raw materials can vary. Mix a small amount of paste, apply it behind the ear or on the inner forearm, cover with a plaster, and wait 48 hours. If any redness, itching, swelling, or burning occurs, do not use the product on your scalp.
