Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is a traditional European medicinal herb from the Boraginaceae family; its root and leaf extract is rich in allantoin (a diureid keratolytic known for its skin-conditioning and cell renewal-supporting properties), mucilage polysaccharides, rosmarinic acid and tannins — compounds used in European folk cosmetics for centuries. The comfrey leaf extract provides a soothing, conditioning topical effect and supports the skin's natural restoration processes. Red pepper extract (capsicum extract, providing capsaicin) provides a warming sensation on the skin through TRPV1 receptor activation, supporting local circulation during topical application.
