Form of Release
Gel suspension in a 150 ml bottle.
Composition
Purified water, sodium hydrocarbonate (acidity regulator), calcium carbonate, sodium alginate, carbopol (stabilizer), benzoic acid (preservative), sodium saccharinate (sweetener), peppermint essential oil.
Pharmacological Properties
An antacid medication in the form of a gel suspension. After oral administration, the product interacts with the acidic contents of the stomach, forming a gel with nearly neutral pH.
The gel forms a protective coating on the surface of the stomach contents, preventing the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux.
Components included in the composition:
Sodium Alginate - a high-molecular-weight polysaccharide, belongs to the class of soluble dietary fibers (along with pectin and agar-agar). Sodium alginate is obtained from brown and red algae. Salts of alginic acid are good electrosorbents that bind and remove heavy metals from the body.
It reacts with the hydrochloric acid present in the stomach, creating a barrier that is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and mechanically hinders the release of acid into the esophagus.
Contributes to the restoration of the mucous membranes of the stomach and esophagus.
Serves as an additional source of dietary fiber.
Calcium Carbonate - a salt of carbonic acid. It has the ability to neutralize hydrochloric acid, reducing its damaging effect and thus reducing discomfort in the stomach.
Calcium - an essential macroelement found in bone tissue. Calcium ions participate in stabilizing cell membranes and intercellular interactions.
Sodium Hydrocarbonate - sodium salt of carbonic acid. It has a rapid antacid effect, contributing to the protection of the digestive organs from the effects of hydrochloric acid.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
Method of Administration
Before consumption, the product is recommended to be stirred/shaken. Adults should take 15 ml (1 tablespoon) 3 times a day after meals.
Duration of intake: 4-6 weeks. If necessary, the course of intake can be repeated. Repeated courses can be taken within a year.
Dispensing Conditions from Pharmacies and Shelf Life
Store in the original factory packaging in a dry place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. After opening the package, the product should be stored in a refrigerator for no more than 1 month.
Shelf life is 2 years.
