It does not change the natural shade that comes from beneath enamel, so the effect you can expect is a fresher, less dull smile rather than a dramatic color change.
Use it the way you would use a normal toothpaste: put a pea-sized amount on a soft-bristled brush and brush for about two minutes, twice a day, reaching all surfaces. There is no need to use a large amount or to scrub aggressively. The fine polishing agents do the work, so gentle, short strokes are enough to loosen surface stain.
Whether this toothpaste suits you depends on why your teeth are sensitive or what dental work you have. It is a polishing paste, so it acts on the outside of natural teeth.
