Vicco Herbal Toothpaste is an authentic Indian Ayurvedic cosmetic oral hygiene toothpaste from VICCO Laboratories (Mumbai, India), one of the oldest and most respected Ayurvedic product manufacturers in India. The formula is based on classical Ayurvedic dental care knowledge and incorporates 18 traditional Ayurvedic plant extracts and bark preparations cited in ancient Sanskrit texts for oral and dental care. The formula combines a variety of time-honoured Ayurvedic oral care botanicals, providing a complex astringent, cleansing and conditioning botanical profile for teeth and gum care. Key identified botanical actives in the INCI list include: Astragalus gummifer (tragacanth gum), Abrus precatorius root extract (Indian traditional dental plant), Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant) leaf extract, Ziziphus jujuba (jujube) fruit extract, Syzygium jambos (rose apple) leaf extract and Barleria prionitis extract, among the full 18-herb complex. The toothpaste uses talc as the cleaning and abrasive base rather than the calcium carbonate used in most modern Western toothpastes, giving it a characteristic texture. USE: Apply a small amount to a toothbrush. Brush teeth for 2–3 minutes at least twice daily.
