How Dentogin Whitening Tooth Powder Works
Dentogin whitening tooth powder with mint and lemon is designed to effectively clean teeth, remove plaque, and improve enamel color with regular use.
Key Ingredients
- Calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide — mild abrasives that mechanically remove plaque and stains from food and drinks. Their effectiveness and safety with controlled abrasiveness have been confirmed by dental studies (Journal of Dentistry).
- Essential oils of mint and lemon, and menthol — provide a distinct feeling of freshness and have mild antiseptic properties. Research shows that components of essential oils can inhibit the growth of certain oral bacteria (Journal of Applied Microbiology).
- Sodium Saccharin — a sweetener that improves the product's flavor without affecting sugar levels or promoting cavities.
The Whitening Effect
The whitening effect is achieved by removing surface stains rather than chemically altering enamel color, making this powder gentler than aggressive whitening systems.
Suitable For Regular Use
Overall, the powder is suitable for regular oral hygiene: it helps clean teeth, freshen breath, and maintain a lighter enamel shade by removing plaque and pigmentation.

Customer Questions
Dentogin Whitening Tooth Powder with mint and lemon is designed to clean teeth, remove plaque and support a lighter-looking enamel shade with regular use. Its whitening effect comes from mechanical stain removal: calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide act as mild abrasives that help lift plaque and surface pigmentation caused by everyday food and drinks.
Because Dentogin contains calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide, its stain-removing action is mechanical. That means it should be used with a soft toothbrush and light pressure. Pressing hard does not clean better; it can increase unnecessary abrasion, especially near the gumline where tooth surfaces may be more sensitive.
Dentogin is described as suitable for regular oral hygiene because it helps clean teeth, remove plaque, freshen breath and maintain a lighter enamel shade by removing surface pigmentation. It contains mint and lemon essential oils and menthol for freshness, while sodium saccharin improves the flavor without adding sugar.
