Fitera Stevia Premium is a herbal tea food supplement in filter bag format, providing 100% dried and milled leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni (stevia, "honey leaf"), a perennial herb of the Asteraceae family native to the subtropical regions of Paraguay and Brazil. Stevia leaves contain steviol glycosides — primarily stevioside (the most abundant) and rebaudioside A — which are diterpene glycosides that provide an intensely sweet taste without contributing carbohydrates or calories. Steviol glycosides are approximately 200–300× sweeter than sucrose by weight, yet they have no glycaemic index (GI = 0) and do not raise blood glucose. In addition to steviol glycosides, stevia leaf contains antioxidant flavonoids (rutin, quercetin), chlorogenic acids, minerals (zinc, chromium, magnesium, selenium, calcium, phosphorus) and vitamins (A, C, E, B-group). The filter bag format (1.5 g per bag) provides a convenient format for use as a naturally sweet herbal drink or as a liquid natural sweetener. N20 filter bags per pack. Suitable for persons monitoring sugar intake, including those following a diabetic-appropriate diet (as part of a balanced diet — not a medicinal product).

Fitera STEEVIA LEHED 1,5g N 20 is a herbal tea made from 100% dried stevia leaves. People usually choose stevia when they want sweetness without sugar: the infusion has a naturally sweet taste, contains no calories and has a glycaemic index of zero. That makes this Fitera herbal drink a practical option for those who are reducing sugar in tea or coffee, looking for a lighter sweet note in porridge or yoghurt, or simply curious about plant-based sweeteners.
The sweetness of stevia comes from compounds called steviol glycosides, mainly stevioside and rebaudioside A. These substances taste intensely sweet even in small amounts, but unlike ordinary sugar they do not provide the same carbohydrate load. In plain terms, the leaf gives flavour rather than energy. Because this product uses the whole dried and milled leaf in filter bags, the result is not just a sugar substitute in powder form, but a mild herbal infusion with its own plant character. Some people prefer this format because it can be enjoyed as a warm drink or used as a liquid sweetener in food and beverages.
Stevia, sometimes called “honey leaf”, has a long history of use in Paraguay and Brazil, where the plant was traditionally added to drinks for sweetness. That background helps explain why stevia remains popular today: it offers a familiar sweet taste from a botanical source rather than from refined sugar. The leaf also naturally contains flavonoids and plant acids, although this product is chosen mainly for its sweetening properties and convenient tea format.

It works especially well at breakfast, with meals, or in the afternoon instead of sugar-heavy beverages.
