Emeljanovskaja Biofabrika Pure Oregano Herbal Tea is a single-ingredient loose herbal tea made from dried common oregano (Origanum vulgare) herb, harvested in Siberia and processed at the Emelyanovskaya biofactory in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Oregano is a perennial herb of the mint family (Lamiaceae), well-known as a culinary spice and herbal plant, characterised by its high natural essential oil content (primarily carvacrol and thymol) and its characteristic aromatic, slightly balsamic flavour profile. The dried herb brews into a fragrant, golden-amber infusion with a pleasantly mild, mildly bitter and balsamic taste. The tea is 100% natural, free of artificial additives, flavourings and preservatives.
Sold as loose dried herb in a 40 g pack — approximately 13–20 servings depending on brewing strength.

Emelyanovskaya Biofabrika Pure Oregano Herbal Tea is a loose herbal infusion made from one plant only: dried Origanum vulgare. People usually choose oregano tea for its warm, aromatic character and for a simple herbal drink that feels more expressive than plain tea. The flavour is gently balsamic with a light bitterness, so it suits both quiet evening moments and a warming cup in cooler weather.
What gives oregano its distinctive character is its naturally occurring essential oil fraction, especially compounds such as carvacrol and thymol. In plain language, these aromatic substances are part of the plant’s own protective system, and when the herb is infused in hot water they help create the tea’s rich scent and slightly resinous, spicy taste. This is why oregano is valued not only as a kitchen herb, but also as a traditional botanical for brewing. As a single-ingredient herbal tea, it lets you experience the plant itself without flavourings or other herbs masking its profile.
The loose form is also worth noting. Unlike powdered blends or strongly processed tea bags, loose dried oregano herb allows the plant material to open during brewing, which helps release aroma gradually into the cup. This makes the infusion especially appealing for those who enjoy herbal teas with a clear botanical identity. Siberian oregano is often appreciated for its robust fragrance, shaped by the growing conditions and careful drying of the herb.
This herbal tea can fit well into a calm food and drink regimen for people who like caffeine-free alternatives, enjoy traditional plant infusions, or want to vary their selection of herbal beverages beyond chamomile or mint. It pairs well with honey if you prefer a softer taste, but many people enjoy it plain to better notice its naturally herbal notes.
As with any herb from the mint family, a little attention is sensible: if you are sensitive to oregano or other Lamiaceae plants, this tea may not suit you. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or choosing herbs for a child, it is wise to check with a health professional first.
