Chaga contains a range of naturally occurring compounds including melanin (from the dark exterior), polysaccharides, betulinic acid (from birch host wood), phenolic compounds and triterpenoids. Black currant leaves and berries provide a naturally tangy, fruity flavour note. Peppermint adds a clean, refreshing minty character.
