What this tea is
Emelyanovskaya Biofabrika Tea drink “Ivan-tea fermented with meadowsweet” is a herbal tea made from fermented fireweed leaves and meadowsweet flowers. People usually choose this kind of drink when they want a caffeine-free alternative to black or green tea with a softer, more rounded taste. Fermentation gently oxidises the plant material, which softens grassy notes and brings out mild fruity and floral nuances in the cup.
What it is made of
- Fermented fireweed (Ivan tea) — has a long tradition of use in Northern and Eastern Europe as a warming herbal infusion, and is naturally free from caffeine. Fermented leaves brew into a smoother, richer drink than plain cut herbs.
- Meadowsweet flowers — add a delicate meadow-like fragrance and a slightly fuller herbal character, lifting the aroma and making the blend taste more layered without becoming sharp or bitter.
When people choose it
Because it is caffeine-free, this infusion suits those who prefer a calmer drink in the evening or want to reduce coffee and strong tea. It can fit well into:
- a quiet morning
- a work break
- a slow evening when you want something warm and pleasantly aromatic without the stimulating effect of caffeine
Good to know
Like many herb-based drinks, this product is best enjoyed as part of a varied diet rather than as a special remedy. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to herbal ingredients, or taking medication regularly, it is wise to check whether meadowsweet is suitable for you before using it often.
