Directions for Use

Zinc is produced in different chemical forms: oxide, sulphate, gluconate, citrate and chelate. EVALAR Zinc Chelate Anti-age uses zinc bisglycinate, a form in which the zinc ion is "wrapped" in two molecules of the amino acid glycine.
Zinc is one of the essential minerals: the body does not synthesise it on its own and gets it only from food or supplements. The main dietary sources are red meat, seafood (especially oysters), legumes, nuts and pumpkin seeds. With a varied diet containing enough of these foods, additional intake is usually not needed.
The main point to pay attention to is not to take zinc at the same time as high doses of calcium or iron. These minerals compete for the same transport mechanisms in the intestine, and when taken together the absorption of each of them may decrease. A simple solution is to space them out in time (for example, zinc in the morning, calcium or iron in the evening).
