It is very pleasant to give joy to yourself and your loved ones, so we are pleased to offer sets of special blends of brewed Ivan tea that can surprise with the versatility of its taste, highlight the sweetish-honey astringency of fireweed and share the sunny summer mood. This is how combinations of the favorite fermented large-leaf Ivan tea with fragrant and tart berries, rich in fruits, appeared. The factory's craftswomen carefully packed them into elegant jars, bags, and boxes and prepared them for delivery. Tea is an amazing drink. In winter and autumn it warms and soothes, in summer it refreshes. And the unique biochemical composition of brewed herbal Ivan tea fills the tea ceremony with benefits. It still lacks one component, namely alkaloids, which include the well-known caffeine. Ivan tea is a sleep drink, also called Koporsky tea, caffeine-free tea, it also does not contain uric, puric and oxalic acids. Therefore, fermented Ivan tea does not cause excitement and addiction, and does not stain tooth enamel and cups. Almost everyone loves and drinks tea. In addition, a cozy, homely tea party is a symbol of well-being, warm relationships and security. Therefore, leaf Ivan tea drink gives exclusively positive emotions. Fans of baths and saunas will be delighted to receive a gift of tea in a jar with herbs - the aromatic drink will perfectly replenish the loss of fluid after bath procedures. We wish you a pleasant tea party!

What This Tea Is
SIBIR BEZ GRANITS Põdrakanepi tee "Maasika" 100 G "Taeznaja kladovaja" is a herbal tea made from fermented willowherb, also known as Ivan tea, with dried strawberry for a soft berry note. People usually choose this kind of drink when they want a warm, full-bodied cup without caffeine. The taste is quite different from ordinary black or green tea: willowherb has a mild honey-like astringency, and strawberry adds a gentle fruity sweetness and a summery aroma.
The Base and Its Character
What makes this blend interesting is the base itself. Willowherb leaves are fermented before drying, a traditional process that changes the character of the plant: the flavour becomes deeper, rounder and less grassy, with a smoother infusion and richer bouquet. Because Ivan tea naturally contains no caffeine, it is often preferred in the evening, during quiet breaks at work, or by those who simply want to reduce stimulating drinks. The addition of dried strawberries brings a brighter, more layered aroma that makes the brew feel more festive and easy to share with guests.
When People Choose It
Ivan tea has a long history in Eastern European tea culture and is widely known as Koporye tea. It was valued as a local herbal alternative to classic tea, especially for people who enjoyed the ritual of brewing and sipping but did not want the sharpness associated with caffeinated drinks. This strawberry version suits a range of occasions:
- Calm mornings with a gentle start to the day
- A cosy tea break in cold weather
- A chilled summer infusion served cold
- A gift blend for those who enjoy herbal beverages with a softer, fruit-led profile
Good to Know
This tea is mainly about flavour, atmosphere and a pleasant caffeine-free option rather than a strong functional effect. If you are sensitive to herbs or berries, or choosing drinks during pregnancy or alongside a special eating plan, it is sensible to check whether the ingredients suit you personally.

Customer Questions
Fermented willowherb, often called Ivan tea or Koporye tea, is the base of this blend. It's made from the leaves of the willowherb plant, which undergo a traditional fermentation process before drying. This process transforms the character of the leaves, making the flavour deeper, rounder, and less grassy compared to simply dried herbs. The resulting infusion has a mild honey-like astringency and a smoother, richer bouquet than a typical green or herbal tea. Crucially, willowherb naturally contains no caffeine. This makes it a fundamentally different beverage from regular black or green tea, offering a full-bodied, warm cup that's often chosen for its taste and the ritual of brewing, not for a stimulating effect. The addition of dried strawberry in this blend builds on that base with a gentle fruity sweetness and summery aroma.
To get the best flavour from this fermented willowherb and strawberry tea, use freshly boiled water that has cooled slightly to about 90–95°C (194–203°F). Pour the water over 1–2 teaspoons of leaves per cup and let it steep. Unlike delicate green teas, this blend benefits from a longer infusion time. Start with 5–7 minutes; you can steep it even longer—up to 10–15 minutes—for a more intense, full-bodied cup without it becoming unpleasantly bitter. The leaves can often be re-steeped once or twice. For a cold brew, add a generous amount of leaves to a jug of cold water and refrigerate for 6–12 hours. The slow infusion yields a very smooth, slightly sweet drink. Experiment to find the strength and flavour profile you enjoy most, as personal preference is key with herbal infusions.
This tea suits a range of occasions, largely defined by its caffeine-free nature and its flavour profile of mild astringency and berry sweetness. It's commonly chosen for calm mornings as a gentle start to the day, or for a cosy break in colder weather where a warm, full-bodied cup is comforting. Because it brews smoothly without bitterness, it's also popular as a social drink to share with guests. Interestingly, it works well as a chilled summer infusion; brewed strong, cooled, and served over ice, it makes a refreshing alternative to sugary drinks. Given its history in Eastern European tea culture as a local herbal alternative (Koporye tea), it often appeals to those seeking the ritual of tea drinking without the stimulation or sharpness of caffeinated varieties.
