VITATEKA Fireweed Tea "Ravitseja" (Healer) 100g is a carefully composed wild Siberian herbal tea blend built around fireweed leaves (Epilobium angustifolium L.), harmoniously blended with three further wild Siberian and Northern herbal co-ingredients: tormentil root (Potentilla erecta, known in Estonian as "tedremarana"), sagan daila (Rhododendron adamsii), and dried rosehips (Rosa canina / related species). The result is a deeply characterful, multilayered, beautifully aromatic tea with a rich, complex sensory profile. Fireweed provides the warm, floral, honey-sweet tea base. Tormentil (Potentilla erecta) is a compact wild herb of the boreal zone whose dried root has a pleasantly astringent quality that adds structure and body to the blend. Sagan daila (Rhododendron adamsii) is a traditional Buryat and Mongolian wild shrub from the high-altitude meadows of Eastern Siberia and Mongolia, prized for its intensely aromatic, characteristic sharp-resinous, minty-fresh top note. Rosehips add a pleasantly sour, fruity, berry-like sweetness. Together, the blend has a distinctive taste described as bracingly complex: astringent with honey, sharply aromatic with a fresh wild note and a fruity rosehip lift. Naturally caffeine-free. 100 g.

What the product is
VITATEKA Fireweed Tea "Ravitseja" 100 g is a caffeine-free herbal tea blend built around fireweed, a plant long used in Northern and Siberian tea traditions as a fragrant alternative to black tea. It is a thoughtfully composed wild-herb infusion for people who enjoy botanical complexity, rather than a classic “herbal remedy tea”.
Key components and character
The plants shape both flavour and sensation in the cup:
- Fireweed leaves form the rounded base, with a smooth, naturally mellow profile.
- Tormentil root is rich in tannins, creating a lightly astringent feel and giving the infusion more structure.
- Rosehips bring fruit acids and natural plant antioxidants, adding freshness and a livelier finish.
- Sagan daila, a wild rhododendron from Siberian and Mongolian regions, is used traditionally in very small amounts for its intense aroma and invigorating character.
The taste is layered: soft floral notes from fireweed, gentle tartness from rosehips, drier herbal depth from tormentil root, and a bright resinous accent from sagan daila.
When people choose it
This blend may suit those who:
- Like non-caffeinated drinks in the second half of the day.
- Want an alternative to standard fruit tea.
- Enjoy exploring regional plants and traditional northern herbs.
It works especially well for slow tea breaks, cooler weather, or as a warming drink after meals.
Important notes
Because the blend contains sagan daila, moderation matters. It is best enjoyed in sensible amounts rather than brewed very strong or consumed repeatedly through the day. If you are:
- Sensitive to herbs,
- Pregnant,
- Breastfeeding,
- Choosing teas particularly carefully for a specific health reason,
it is wise to check with a qualified professional first.

Customer Questions
This blend is caffeine-free in the usual sense: it contains no leaves of the tea plant, so it is not black or green tea. Fireweed is naturally free of caffeine, which is why this type of infusion is often chosen as an alternative to regular tea in the second half of the day.
This is a loose-leaf blend, so it can be brewed in a teapot, in a cup with a strainer, or in a reusable filter. A practical starting point is about one small teaspoon of the blend per cup of hot water, but the amount depends on your taste and your cup size. Since the blend contains sagan daila, the product information recommends moderation, so it is better to start with less rather than more and adjust from there.
The taste is layered rather than one simple flavour. Fireweed leaves form the rounded base and give a smooth, mellow, softly floral character. Rosehips bring fruit acids and a gentle tartness, which makes the cup feel fresher and livelier. Tormentil root contributes a drier herbal depth and a light astringency, adding structure to the finish. Sagan daila is present in a small amount but has an intense aroma, showing up as a bright, resinous accent.
The product information specifically advises consulting a qualified professional before using the blend if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to herbs, or choosing teas carefully for a specific reason. This caution is mainly connected to sagan daila, a wild rhododendron used in very small amounts for aroma and invigorating character, and to tormentil root, which is rich in tannins. Individual tolerance to herbal blends varies, so there is no single answer for everyone.
