Rubella Derma Intensive+ Maximum Protection Insect Repellent Lotion 50ml (8-hour protection) is an insect repellent skin lotion from the Derma Intensive+ range (Rubella Beauty, Bulgaria), formulated with a higher-concentration dual active repellent system: DEET (N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide, 30%) and Citriodiol® (PMD, p-Menthane-3,8-diol, from natural lemon eucalyptus). With DEET at 30%, this is the maximum-strength formulation in the Derma Intensive+ range, designed for areas with a higher density of biting insects or longer outdoor exposure, providing extended protection duration compared to the 15% DEET variant. DEET is the most widely studied synthetic insect repellent active, effective against mosquitoes, ticks and a broad spectrum of other biting insects. Citriodiol® (PMD) provides complementary plant-derived repellent action and the characteristic fresh lemon-eucalyptus fragrance. Aloe vera extract conditions and moisturises the skin. No sticky residue after application. Provides up to 8 hours of protection from mosquitoes and up to 7 hours from ticks. 50 ml.

USE: Apply to exposed skin before going outdoors. Reapply as needed (every 6–8 hours). Wash off with soap and water when returning indoors.

WARNINGS: For external use on skin only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Do not apply to hands of young children (risk of hand-to-eye/mouth transfer). Not for use on children under 2 years of age. DEET at 30% — use sparingly and do not apply over large areas of skin simultaneously. DEET can damage plastics, rubber, leather, painted and coated surfaces — avoid contact with such materials. In practice, duration depends on temperature, humidity, how much you sweat, and whether you swim or towel off. DEET and Citriodiol both gradually evaporate from the skin surface, so protection declines over time rather than stopping abruptly.Reapply if you notice insects landing on treated skin again, after swimming or heavy sweating, or after towelling dry. Because this is a 30% DEET lotion, avoid unnecessary frequent reapplication — use the minimum needed for your exposure time. For a full day outdoors, a morning application plus one top-up in the afternoon is often sufficient. Do not exceed the number of applications recommended on the packaging (typically 1–2 times per day for 30% DEET products).Apply as the final step before going outside, on dry skin. If you also use sunscreen, apply sunscreen first, let it absorb, then apply the repellent lotion. From what age can this lotion be used on children?
