Dental Sensitive Classic Formula Toothpaste is a cosmetic toothpaste from the Dental range by Rubella Beauty (Bulgaria), specially developed for the daily care of sensitive teeth. Tooth sensitivity (dentinal hypersensitivity) is a common condition characterised by short, sharp pain or discomfort from teeth in response to thermal (hot/cold), osmotic (sweet/sour) or contact (toothbrushing) stimuli; it arises when the underlying dentine becomes exposed following enamel erosion, gum recession or other causes, allowing stimuli to reach the dentinal tubules and the underlying nerve endings of the pulp. The formula is designed to reduce the sensitivity experience at the tooth surface through a protective conditioning mechanism. With regular use, the formula contributes to the formation of a protective conditioning layer over the dentinal surface, building up a shield around the dentinal nerve pathway over time and reducing the sensitivity response.
