911 Zivokost Comfrey Gel-Balsam is a lightweight, fast-absorbing cosmetic body gel-balsam formulated around comfrey root extract (Symphytum officinale) — the iconic herb that gives the product its name ("Zivokost" is the Slavic folk name for comfrey, meaning "living bone"). Comfrey extract contains allantoin and rosmarinic acid as its principal identified phytochemicals and has a long history of use in European topical preparations for massage and skin care. The gel is further enriched with arnica flower extract (Arnica montana), elecampane root extract (Inula helenium), and Callisia fragrans (golden whiskers) extract.
The formula contains camphor and menthol as active aromatic agents, contributing a pronounced cooling-then-warming sensory experience on the skin during massage. Glucosamine hydrochloride, sodium chondroitin sulphate, thiamine HCl (vitamin B1), and pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6) are also included.
