Ingredients

Preparation
- Pour 1 glass (200 ml) of boiling water over 2 teaspoons (3.0 g) of the crushed herb;
- let it steep for 15 minutes and strain;
- adults: 1/4 glass (50 ml) 4 times a day or 1/2 glass (100 ml) 2 times a day with meals; keep the prepared infusion in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.

LEKRASET Haava koor is pure crushed aspen bark (Populus tremula) with no additives. It is used to make an infusion: hot water is poured over the bark and it is left to steep. According to the instructions, pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2–4 teaspoons (3–6 g) of bark, leave to steep for 15 minutes and strain; drink it warm, 1/2 glass twice a day with meals, for a course of 1 month. The amount of bark can be adjusted within the range of 2–4 teaspoons depending on how strong you want the drink to be: this is one of the advantages of the “raw material” format over a ready-made extract.
The main limitation has to do with the product's composition: aspen bark contains natural salicylates, plant compounds that are structurally similar to substances to which some people are hypersensitive. If you know you have such a reaction (for example, to aspirin or to other plants containing salicylates), it is better to avoid this product. It is also not recommended during a flare-up of gastrointestinal conditions.
LEKRASET Haava koor is whole plant material, not a concentrated extract in capsules or tablets. This means several practical differences.
