Whitening Black Toothpaste with Activated Charcoal is a cosmetic tooth-whitening toothpaste enriched with activated charcoal (activated carbon) for the cosmetic care of tooth surface discoloration and surface staining. Activated charcoal is produced by high-temperature carbonisation and steam or chemical activation, creating a porous material with an exceptionally large internal surface area (typically 1,000–3,000 m² per gram). In oral care cosmetics, activated charcoal acts as a physical surface adsorption agent on the tooth enamel surface — it adsorbs surface-deposited chromogens (staining pigments from coffee, tea, wine and other dietary sources) from the enamel surface and from microcrevices between teeth, contributing to a visually whiter tooth appearance without chemical bleaching agents. The formula is designed to adsorb surface impurities while being gentle on enamel. The formula also contains fluoride and standard cosmetic oral care actives to support normal tooth enamel mineral balance and hygiene. For adults only.
