Most B complexes are limited to the eight B vitamins. In this product, vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid and vitamin E have been added to them — and each has its own role that does not duplicate the B vitamins.
B vitamins are water-soluble and, with the exception of B12, are hardly stored in the body — which means their reserves need to be replenished regularly through food. When the diet becomes poorer or the workload increases, the intake of these vitamins can fall.
OstroVit B-complex contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12, as well as vitamins C and E. If you are also taking a multivitamin complex, separate vitamin C or biotin, the total dose of some of these may end up exceeding the recommended daily intake.
