OstroVit B-complex contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12, as well as vitamins C and E. If you are also taking a multivitamin complex, separate vitamin C or biotin, the total dose of some of these may end up exceeding the recommended daily intake.

The body excretes excess water-soluble vitamins (all B vitamins and vitamin C) in the urine, but systematically exceeding the doses of some of them — B6, for example — is undesirable. Vitamin E is fat-soluble and can theoretically accumulate, so extra care is needed when taking several sources at once.
