Salipod is a plaster for local use on calluses. The product contains salicylic acid, precipitated sulphur, anhydrous lanolin, natural rubber and pine rosin.
The plaster is applied to clean and dry skin over the callus. If necessary, the plaster can be cut to a suitable size and covered with a fixing plaster.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply to clean and dry skin. Open the package, remove the protective layer and fix the plaster to the skin. Leave on for 24–48 hours. Before applying the plaster, you can take a warm foot bath and dry the skin carefully. If the callus has not softened, use may be repeated in the same way 3–4 times.

OLKO SALIPOD callus plaster is a medicated corn plaster designed for areas of thickened, hardened skin that develop from friction and pressure. People often choose this plaster when a callus on the foot becomes dense, rough, and uncomfortable in shoes, seeking a targeted way to soften it before gentle removal.
Key Components and Their Effects
- Salicylic acid: Helps loosen the “glue” that holds dead skin cells together, gradually softening the compacted layer for easier removal. This is known as a keratolytic effect. Salicylic acid is also recognized for its mild antiseptic action on the skin surface.
- Sulfur: Often used alongside salicylic acid, sulfur helps the active ingredient penetrate the thickened area more effectively and contributes to the overall softening effect.
How the Patch Works
The patch form keeps the active area in close contact with the callus for many hours, allowing the hard skin to absorb the keratolytic components gradually. This focused application is practical for small, localized spots such as corns or pressure points on the toes or soles, without spreading product over a larger area of healthy skin.

Before applying the plaster, wash your foot and dry it thoroughly — damp skin holds the plaster less well, which may reduce its effectiveness. It is not necessary to soften the foot in warm water beforehand, but if you do, wait until the skin is completely dry.
OLKO SALIPOD is designed for dry, hardened areas of skin — dense calluses on the heels, toes or the front of the foot. It is on such areas that salicylic acid gradually loosens the bonds between the cells of the horny layer, while sulfur helps dry the surface.
When applied locally, salicylic acid acts mainly on the surface of the skin, but children have a thinner skin barrier and a larger body surface area relative to their weight — which means a higher risk of systemic absorption, even with external use. For this reason, the plaster should be used on children only after consulting a paediatrician or dermatologist, who will assess the child’s age, the size of the callus and whether such treatment is appropriate.
