OLKO Salipod callus plaster is a keratolytic patch for dry corns and thickened skin on the feet. People usually choose this type of plaster when friction from shoes has led to a dense, rough area that is difficult to soften with cream alone. The patch keeps the active layer in close contact with the problem spot, so the hardened surface can gradually loosen and become easier to remove.
The main active ingredient here is salicylic acid at a fairly strong concentration. In simple terms, it helps break down the “glue” that holds dead skin cells tightly together. As this compact layer softens, the corn becomes less rigid and can be removed more gently after the patch is taken off. Sulfur is often used alongside salicylic acid in classic corn plasters, while lanolin and mineral oil help keep the mass pliable and improve contact with the skin.
What makes a plaster format practical is its targeted action. Instead of applying a product over the whole foot, OLKO Salipod works mainly where the skin is thickest. This can be useful for people with small dry corns on toes, the sole, or other pressure points caused by walking, sports shoes, or narrow footwear. It fits best into a foot-care plan when the area is first washed and dried, and after removal the softened layer is eased away without scraping too aggressively.
Because this is an acid-based callus plaster, it should be used with caution on healthy surrounding skin. It is generally meant for dry corns and rough, thickened areas, not for irritated, broken, inflamed, or very sensitive skin. If you have diabetes, poor circulation, or very fragile skin, it is wise to ask a pharmacist or clinician before use. Stop applying it if strong burning, redness, or irritation appears.
