Will the plaster help with blisters or ‘wet’ corns?

A wet corn (blister) and a dry corn are fundamentally different skin conditions, and the products for them are not interchangeable. A blister is a protective reaction to acute friction: fluid builds up under the skin, and the surface stays soft and is often painful. A plaster with salicylic acid must not be applied to such an area: the active substance is intended to soften a dense horny layer, and on damaged or inflamed skin it will cause irritation.

OLKO SALIPOD works specifically on dry, hardened formations, the calluses and corns that form gradually under chronic pressure or friction. Their characteristic feature is a dense, sometimes yellowish keratinised area with no fluid inside.

A different approach is used for blisters: protective cushion plasters that reduce friction and allow the blister to heal on its own. It is not advisable to open a blister yourself, as this increases the risk of infection.
