Sagan Dailya Tea (Rhododendron adamsii Rehder) is a traditional Siberian and Buryat botanical infusion made from the dried stems and leaves of Rhododendron adamsii, a small aromatic shrub endemic to the rocky highlands and alpine zones of the Lake Baikal region, eastern Siberia and Mongolia. The plant is known in Buryat and Mongolian tradition as "Sagaan Dali" (Buryat: "white wings"), reflecting the whitish underside of its leaves, and has been used for centuries in Siberian folk practice as an invigorating and aromatic herbal beverage. The phytochemical composition of R. adamsii includes flavonoids — quercetin, rutin, dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) and myricetin — as well as essential oil compounds (linalool, linalyl acetate, sabinene, geraniol) that give it its characteristic intense aromatic fragrance. The flavonoids quercetin and rutin are well-characterised antioxidants contributing to the botanical's antioxidant profile. 10 g pouch.

PREPARATION: Add a very small amount (1–2 g, approximately a small pinch) to a teapot. Pour 500 ml of boiling water. Steep for 2–5 minutes. Strain. Do NOT exceed the recommended amount.
