Specialist Sila Altaya Flaxseed Kissel with Pumpkin and Protein is an instant hot beverage mix from the Altai Specialist range, combining linseed (flaxseed) flour — a naturally protein-rich, omega-3-rich plant flour — with pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) and a plant protein concentrate to create a nourishing, satisfying warm kissel drink. Linseed flour is naturally rich in dietary fibre and omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA); ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, with the beneficial effect obtained from a daily intake of 2 g of ALA. Pumpkin contributes natural carotenoids, vitamin C and dietary fibre, with its mild sweetness complementing the linseed base. The added plant protein supports the overall protein content of the drink.
